🥎 06.11.26 Who Needs a Full Roster Anyway?

We were short on players today, but that didn’t slow us down — it just made things interesting. With the lineup stretched thin, Stu and Kerry stepped onto the mound like a pair of unlikely heroes, keeping the game alive by pitching to their own squads. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was competitive, gutsy, and exactly the kind of teamwork that makes these mornings fun.

Players shuffled around the field like a game of musical chairs, trying out new positions and keeping the energy high. And yes… even I jumped into the middle‑infielder spot. A few key plays later, and it felt a lot like my old shortstop days coming back to life.

Team Biddle (Visitors) came out on top over Team Charlet (Home), 17–13. The top of Team Charlet — Skid, Matt, and Stu — put up multiple runs and kept things tight early, but Team Biddle’s defense slammed the door in the 6th and 7th innings.

A big shout‑out to Bob from Team Biddle, who not only played both sides of the ball but also launched a left field home run that had everyone fired up. Huge effort and great timing.

We also welcomed John, who jumped in at shortstop in the 6th inning to relieve Kerry — who had been grinding on both sides of the ball all morning. Great hustle and adaptability across the board.

Thanks to everyone who stepped up, filled in, and kept the game rolling — this group always finds a way.
