We squeezed in 7 full innings before the raindrops arrived — which is impressive considering the wind was trying to relocate the field to another zip code.
Visitors / Hitting Team – 7 runs
They mounted a 3‑run rally in the 7th, which definitely made things interesting, but the comeback ran out of runway before they could close the gap. Ralph was the spark plug of the lineup, scoring 4 of the team’s 7 runs and keeping the Visitors in the fight all morning.

Sitting / Middle Team – 15 runs (2nd)
These guys showed up ready to score. Lynch and Bales each crossed home 3 times, proving that sitting between innings apparently charges the batteries. Jack went 3-for-4 and Tony went 5-for-5. The team also dropped 6 runs in the 6th to tie the game and make the Home Team suddenly pay a lot more attention.

Home Team – 16 runs (Win)
After the Middle Team tied things up, the Home Team calmly punched in one more run in the bottom of the 6th — just enough to take the lead back and make the Middle Team mutter quietly to themselves.
The Home Team spread the scoring around like a coach tossing BP — everybody got a turn.
Carl, Dowdy, Larry, Mark, and Kerry all scored twice,
Fred scored 3 times,
Larry went a perfect 3 for 3,
and Dawson went 3 for 4, politely escorting teammates around the bases like a tour guide.

The wind was a challenge — but almost everyone made it to their cars before the rain came down, which might be the biggest victory of the day.
