Well folks… it’s Lakeland Game Day Recap time — kinda.
We had enough players to make something happen, just not enough for two full teams, so we rolled out the 5‑5‑5 setup again… except this time it was more like 5‑5‑4.

We knew who was on which team — we just didn’t bother keeping score because, honestly, today was more about moving and pretending we were doing cardio.

It wasn’t the classic senior softball we know and love, but we made the best of it, got some swings in, and nobody filed a complaint with the Commissioner. So we’ll call it a win… sorta.
Player Updates
1. Thursday play is moving to Wednesdays
Starting next week, we’re shifting to Wednesdays in hopes of recruiting more players and boosting turnout. Same field, same fun — just one day earlier.
2. Temporary field change the week of August 18th
We’ll be moving to the Westside Complex field off Josephine St. while the city repairs the concrete sidewalks at the Southwest field. More info coming, but plan on a short relocation that week.
